New Update of Legends of Runeterra, Empires of the Ascended

Riot Game is popular with League of Legends which has been launched since 2009. In 2019, to celebrate its 10th success, Riot completed it by launching a card game, Legends of Runeterra.

The card game is available in PC and mobile versions, and has received positive reviews from card game lovers. Earlier this year, Riot Game added a new update, Empires of the Ascended.

This is the first and biggest development as Riot Game paired one Region and nine new Champions. Not to mention the addition of more than 100 cards that will always be updated via Instagram Legends of Runeterra. What is the gameplay in Legends of Runeterra like?

Legends of Runeterra Gameplay

Since the beginning, many were quite skeptical of this game because it is included in the Collectible Card Games (CCG) group whose lovers are really segmented. But in fact, this game received a fairly high interest in the preview launch one year before its official launch.

If you are a card game lover, of course you are close to games like Hearthstone or Artifact. The direction of the game is quite easy, use Mana and choose the most powerful card to damage the opponent's Nexus. Simply put, cards can be used to summon monsters and attack opponents on the table.

Each player will be dealt four cards to begin with. Players are allowed to change cards randomly and will get one card at each turn. To use the card, you will need Mana.

Mana will be obtained at each turn and can be reduced when attacked. Which one is left can be used in the next turn and used to cast spells.

When the turn comes, you can attack your opponent by removing a card with a high ATK (attack) point. if the opponent's HP is less than the ATK you issue, then the opponent will be crushed. On the other hand, if the ATK is smaller, the attack will actually reduce the HP we have.

In addition to ATK and HP, cards have the power to cast magic or spells if you have enough which is enough. Several kinds of Spells in the game are:

1. Burst: A spell that can be cast at any time. Because it's fast, this Spell ability dampens your opponent to challenge the onslaught you're doing.

2. Fast: This spell can also be issued at any time, but still gives an interval for the opponent to react or challenge using another Burst or Fast Spell. If your opponent casts a Fast Spell, you can challenge him using Burst.

3. Slow: Spell that can only be used outside the fight. The slow impact of this spell gives time for opponents to challenge with other spells that can be faster.

4. Fleeting: As the name suggests, Spell Fleeting is like floating and lasts as long as you take turns playing. He will disappear when it has been replaced by another player to make a way.

In the latest update, Empires of the Ascended, it has been previously mentioned that there is a new Region. This region is mentioned by Shurima which is called the strongest kingdom in Legends of Runeterra which has become a legend.

Simultaneously because there is a new place, some new figures or Champions also enter. One of them is Jarvan IV who is called the most powerful warrior and heir to the throne of Demacia. Besides that, there is also Renekton, a terrifying creature from the Shurima desert.
